The Essentials of Caregiving: Caring for the Caregiver

“The Essentials of Caregiving” is an eight week series of classes focused on providing support and tools a caregiver may need as they care for a family member living with a diagnosis of Alzheimer’s or a related dementia. Participants may register for the series at any time.

We recognize the care for a person with a chronic illness or disability is not complete without addressing the needs of the caregiver. At “The Essentials of Caregiving: Caring for the Caregiver” session, we will cover how to maintain your health and wellness as a caregiver.

Registration is free at http://www.utcaregivers.eventbrite.com/. Refreshments and parking are provided for free. We are now offering a co-occurring Engagement Program for individuals experiencing Alzheimer's or other dementias to attend while their caregivers attend class. Please let us know in advance if you or your loved one is interested in participating in this Engagement Program.
