The Essentials of Caregiving: Learning to be a Caregiver

The Essentials of Caregiving is a six-week series of classes focused on providing support and tools to caregivers as they care for a loved one living with a diagnosis of Alzheimer’s or related dementia.

Whether you have recently taken on the new role of a family caregiver or have been established in the role for some time, this session is a beneficial resource as you navigate the experience of caring for your loved one with an Alzheimer’s or another dementia diagnosis.

Registration is free at utcaregivers.eventbrite.com/. Refreshments and parking are provided for free.

Our Cognitive Engagement Program is for family members with dementia or another chronic condition. They will be guided by a health care professional in a tailored activity while their family caregiver attends the Essentials of Caregiving classes. To enroll in the Cognitive Engagement Program, please contact us at least 3 days prior to class.
