The Essentials of Caregiving: Family Dynamics

The Essentials of Caregiving is a six-week series of classes focused on providing support and tools to caregivers as they care for a loved one living with a diagnosis of Alzheimer’s or related dementia.

The Family Dynamics session will provide tips on how to maintain the lines of communication open after a diagnosis of Alzheimer’s or other dementias may cause changes in a family’s roles and relationships.

Registration is free at utcaregivers.eventbrite.com. Refreshments and parking are provided for free.

Our Cognitive Engagement Program is for family members with dementia or another chronic condition. They will be guided by a health care professional in a tailored activity while their family caregiver attends the Essentials of Caregiving classes. To enroll in the Cognitive Engagement Program, please contact us at least 3 days prior to class.
