Join this interactive presentation to learn more about the roles of proper nutrition and other heart healthy behaviors on brain health and dementia. Registration with the City of San Antonio Senior Centers is required. To become a member, you must be 60+ and a citizen of Bexar County. About the Speaker(s)

Dr. Debora Melo Van Lent is a post-doctoral fellow at the Glenn Biggs Institute for Alzheimer’s and Neurodegenerative Diseases. She has a bachelor degree in dietetics, a master degree in nutrition and health, and a second master degree in epidemiology. All of which she obtained in the Netherlands. She completed a PhD in Bonn, Germany, for which she investigated the role of nutrition on dementia and cognitive decline.
