Event Details:
“The Essentials of Caregiving” is an eight week series of classes focused on providing support and tools a caregiver may need as they care for a family member living with a diagnosis of Alzheimer’s or a related dementia. Participants may register for the series at any time.

The “Essentials of Caregiving: Finding Connections in the Community” session covers the importance of making connections with individuals, groups and organizations within your community. At this open-discussion you will receive valuable insight and information to the local resources available to caregivers.

Registration is free at http://www.utcaregivers.eventbrite.com/. Refreshments and parking are provided for free. We are now offering a co-occurring Engagement Program for individuals experiencing Alzheimer's or other dementias to attend while their caregivers attend class. Please let us know in advance if you or your loved one is interested in participating in this Engagement Program.
