Memory Cafes are filled with love

This month’s SA Amigos memory cafe attendees will enjoy a morning filled with LOVE! We will have tons of fun listening to and chatting about our favorite love songs. We will even play a bit of music trivia and listen to some famous love songs in English and Spanish. Join us this month on February 15th at 10am. Memory cafes offer a place where person’s with memory loss, mild cognitive impairment, Alzheimer’s, or other dementia and their family, friends, and care partners can socialize together and connect with others in similar situations. Attendees will find memory cafes to be a welcoming and safe place where everyone is free to be themselves. Each memory cafe is unique and offers a variety of activities. Some cafes offer an opportunity to tap into your inner artist while other offer education or a simple space to chat and relax. Due to COVID-19, many memory cafes have moved to a virtual format to allow for a safer experience.
