We at Caring for the Caregiver are incredibly grateful for our Veterans and their families. We know that caring for a Veteran is not easy and requires a village, which is why we are here to help.

Being a Veteran and caring for one allows for a wide array of opportunities through the Veteran’s Affairs and special local resources.

As we expand the scope of our resources, we look to support caregivers who are caring for their loved ones living with a variety of different diseases and pathologies. We consistently refer Veteran caregivers to national and local services to help get the care they deserve, as well as ongoing research opportunities at their consent.

The Army Residence Community (ARC) stands as a vital and deeply valued partner in the Caring for the Caregiver program. They are true collaborators in delivering meaningful, skills-based training that equips family caregivers with the tools they need to navigate complex caregiving roles. Through this partnership, we have also strengthened the training of future healthcare professionals. By supporting our student training program and working alongside the School of Nursing, the ARC helps shape compassionate, well-prepared providers who understand the realities of caregiving. Together, this collaboration has expanded our reach and impact—touching lives, strengthening families, and transforming the caregiving experience for those who need it most.
