Caregiving at the End of Life

Join us for a virtual presentation hosted by the Caring for the Caregiver program on Thursday, September 9, 2-3:30 pm.  This presentation of the Essentials of Caregiving “Caregiving at the End of Life” will discuss how caregivers can prepare for their loved one’s end-of-life needs.  During this session, attendees will hear from certified bereavement facilitator, RN, and a founding member of the Caring for the Caregiver program Debbie James, MSN, RN.  Ms. James has been a clinical nurse, nurse manager, and nurse educator for the past 40 plus years.  She is currently an Assistant Clinical Professor at UT Health San Antonio and collaborator with the MD Anderson Cancer Center, directing the End of Life Nursing Education Consortium program.   Ms. James has authored, co-authored and presented on many topics related to death and dying and we are honored to have her present at this month’s Essentials of Caregiving.
