Essentials of Caregiving – Legal and Financial Planning
Join us for the Essentials of Caregiving in person on Thursday, June 9 from 10-11:30.
As a caregiver, you will need to plan for future decisions, and many decisions are not easy. Planning for future needs and the unexpected isn’t easy and frankly, it can be scary and overwhelming. You have many scenarios to consider each having its own unknown outcome. However, with a plan in place you can be prepared as possible, as well as a better advocate to execute your loved one’s wishes.
Questions to consider:
- Do you have your legal plans in place?
- Can you afford to pay for care?
- How can I support my loved one from a distance?
This session is designed to help you and your family members prepare for legal and financial decisions, including the power of attorney, wills, and different payment options.
