[Register!] CONFIDENCE: Financial education for caregivers
Caregivers to persons living with dementia spend over $10,000/year on the out-of-pocket costs of caregiving. These expenses include medications, home modification, transportation, and more. Compared to non-Latino caregivers, Latino families spend a far greater proportion of their incomes on out-of-pocket care expenses.
CONFIDENCE is a 5-part, weekly group program that will be offered jointly by UT Health San Antonio and the University of Southern California. Caregivers attending CONFIDENCE may be eligible to participate in a research study being conducted by UT Health San Antonio.
To register for the CONFIDENCE program, please see our Eventbrite Page.
You may also begin your registration by learning if you are eligible for our research study.
Please note, you are not required to participate in the study to be a participant in CONFIDENCE. Study participants will be asked to complete 3 online surveys and 10 daily spending diaries, in addition to attending the 5-part CONFIDENCE program. Participants will receive payment as a thank you for completing these surveys.
