Ginny Funk with the Alzheimer’s Association, will discuss how early detection of Alzheimer’s disease gives you a chance to begin drug therapy, enroll in clinical studies and plan for the future. She will identify the 10 warning signs of Alzheimer’s disease, understand what is involved in getting a diagnosis, identify risks, and understand the benefits of early detection.

After that session, fitness professional and advocate for Morgan’s Wonderland, Dawn Cortez, will join us in-person to lead a Zumba Gold program. Zumba Gold is a fun, low intensity, dance fitness program for older adults that focuses on cardiovascular endurance, range of motion, flexibility, and balance!
